This is my first time be a 2 hours teacher in elementary school. The school 's name is Banan (sounds like banana
 ). It is quite a sweet and wonderful experience for me . Really thanks a lot to Teresa for inviting me to such a so great CCAP program! That day, I took subway and dropped by in pusan museum station and the whole journey took me about 35 minutes. I wore baju kebaya to enter the class. I saw a Malaysia flag was pasted outiside the classroom. I felt so touched because the students seems like had done some research on Malaysia this country. Before I started my lecture, these students had prepared a dance to present infront of me. My main objective was introduce malaysia to them. Luckily, their response were so enthusiasm. I gave them a small deng long be a prize. They gave me a book about Korea, small fan and book mark.
I hope that I have second chance to join such wonderful program. Haha, I realized that I'm still able to communicate with small kids.

My presentation building is in number 47. From this map, you can see how big is this university.
This is my second time to present infront of outsider people but it is my first time went to others place to present.
This conference is so called KIMICS stands for "The Korean Institute of Maritime Information & Communication Science" held in Chosun University in Gwangju. http://www.chosun.ac.kr
We took bus in Sasang station and spent 4 hours to reach this unversity.
I was the first presenter in first session. My feeling is so horrible and can feel that my heart wanna jump out.
Luckily, not much people came to my session at 1.30pm. I felt my presentation was damn bad and unsatisfied. I had visited others labmates ' presentation and still have some free time to walk around this unversity. I was so impressed by this "rose tunnel" in this university. This scene was too awesome!

This is my first time saw the grass field , not sand field in Korea. I heard my korean friend said that it is quite hard to grow the grass here since the weather is not suitable for it and the maintainenace fees is very high since you need always change the grass periodically. Therefore, you can imagine how "rich" is this unversity.

There are two ways to reach Busan Sports Complex by subway from Naengjeong station.
First method, Seomyeon station (line2) ----> Yeonsan-Dong (line3) ----- > Sajik station
Second mehod, Deokcheon (line2) ---> Sajik station

We departured from here at 1pm and having lunch in McD nearby. :p
Although we reached stadium almost 3.30pm (game starts at 5.30pm), but you can imagine how the scene looked like from these photos.

I'm not really know how to play baseball game. hahaa..... However, I'm quite enjoyable, can feel a very strong atmosphore of excitement that totally cannot feel what you watch infront of tv. We watched this game until almost 8pm. Although this game hadn't finish , we all decided to go back since we all feel quite tiring and exhausted our energy.

Team Members: Sing Hui, Ming Hui, Chee Min
All teams were waiting for registration in English Cafe.
We were given a item list to find out and also took photos within one hour.
For example, get orange umbrella, guitar, english dictionary, take pink color car's photo, someone was sleeping in the library etc.
Forget to mention a very important things here, our team name is "Samurai", sounds great, right ? hahaha...

Someone asked me why I'm looked so short :(( (I 'm not SHORT, only this two guys are too TALL)
English Teacher recalculated the marks of each team.
We obtained 575 total mark.
I'm so sorry because I laugh until like that, my mouth opened too big (hahha).
Please look at Ming Hui and Chee Min' expression also.
UNBELIEVABLE, we obtained SECOND prize for this competition.
This is the most excited, memorable time moment in my heart forevable.
Our prize was vouchers value 75000 won.
We were fully cooperated and communicated excellent in this game.
Of course, our high spirit keep pushing us towards obtaining first prize target.
Ming Hui, Chee Ming, Thanks a lot ! May, 2008 SCJP CertI passed my SCJP 1.4 in first time! HORRAY !!
You might think it is easy for you, but it is quite tough for me. Since I need to work, I'm really very hard to allocate my time to study especially during weekend where all you friends went out for shopping but you are studying that time.
I hope can continue challenge higher level , SCJP 1.5 and pass the exam before I have graduated.
You might think I'm crazy, but I don't CARE. |
